REMARKS
This species was only known by the holotype collected in Vanuatu at 397- 402 m. The specimens collected from the Solomon Islands agree quite well with the original description and illustrations provided in Baba & de Saint Laurent (1996). The tubercular processes in the posterior part of the cardiac region are more reduced than in the holotype, being absent in two specimens. This new record extends the distribution of the species to the Solomon Islands.
