The MHNG collection includes two specimens under this name from Java, but both of these have the identification label “Cyrtoxiphus ritsemae Sauss. ?” and are therefore unlikely to be part of the type series. According to OSF there are syntypes in the RMNH .

A junior synonym of Homoeoxipha lycoides lycoides (Walker, 1869) .
