Distribution in South America: polyp—Atlantic Ocean, Argentina, at 54.42°S 57.53°W, and at South Georgia Islands (Jäderholm 1905; Ritchie 1907a; Stepanjants 1979; Blanco 1994a; Genzano & Zamponi 1997). Habitat: polyp—from 102 to 350m depth (Jäderholm 1905; Ritchie 1907a; Stepanjants 1979; Blanco 1994a).
