Distribution in South America: polyp—Pacific Ocean, Peru, at 6.95°S 80.70°W in Isla Lobos de Afuera (Fraser 1948); Atlantic Ocean, at Bonaire (Leloup 1935).

Habitat: polyp—from 45 to 55m depth (Fraser 1948).
