Distribution in South America: polyp—Pacific Ocean, Peru, at 6.95°S 80.70°W in Isla Lobos de Afuera and at Bahia San Juan (Fraser 1938b, 1 948).

Habitat: polyp—from 27 to 54m depth (Fraser 1938b, 1948).
