Synonyms in the area: Hipurella longicarpa —Fraser 1938b; Calder et al. 2003 [polyp]. Distribution in South America: polyp—Pacific Ocean, Ecuador, from 1.2°S to 1.4°S in Isla Floreana (Fraser 1938b; Calder et al. 2003).

Habitat: polyp—at 457m depth (Fraser 1938b; Calder et al. 2003).
