Remarks

In Italy, the distribution of this species is confined to Sicily ( Map 2 View Map 2 ). It has also been recorded from Tunisia and Algeria; for more details see ASSING (2005c). PORTA (1926) indicates D. memnonia from Sardinia, but this record is apparently based on a misidentification (see also ZANETTI 1995).
