Type material. Holotype ( AM).
Type locality. Queensland, Keppel Bay, Emu Park .
Material examined. South China Sea. Guangxi Province of China, MBM 100143, 18– 23 m, 2 spms, BL 9.0–11.5 mm, 26.05.1978.
Distribution. Northeastern Queensland, Vietnam (from Cau to Cat Ba islands) and Guangxi Province of South China.
Remarks. The species is rather abundant in Vietnamese part of the Beibu Gulf (Gulf of Tongkin). In the Guangxi Province the species was documented for the first time.
