This genus includes species formerly placed in Ctenicera and Ludius . Four species in Montana were transferred to this genus in Mathison (2021). This checklist is apparently the first report of Proludius captiosus ( Brown, 1939) since its description by Brown (1939) and represents an eastern range extension for this overlooked species. This genus requires revision.
