Type. Tenthredo aericeps Konow, 1907b: 173–174 . Syntype (s) ♀, “ Sikkim ”. Lectotype ♀, hereby designated ( MNCN _ Ent 100187, MNCN Cat. Tipos Nº 8120, Fig. 06, see also http://dx.doi.org/10.6084/ m9.figshare.746972).Type locality: India, Sikkim.
Discussion. The description of the species gives no information about the number of the types. Possibly the lectotype was the only syntype.
