Updated diagnosis. Body medium to large sized, male half the size of female; short winged; vertex subequal in width to one-third of the interocular distance; its fastigium separated from the front by a short transverse line; pronotum obsoletely rugose; lateral keels obtuse, but distinct except at the front margin; dorsally depressed with median carina distinct, anterior margin slightly rounded and posterior margin straight; hind margin scarcely rounded; lateral lobes moderately inclined with the hind margin sinuate and the surface rugulose; humeral sinus indistinct. Prosternum devoid of any spine or process; abdomen with a distinct median carina and with several series of elongated creases on the tergites; subgenital plate short, convex, narrowly incised apically; ovipositor laterally compressed and regularly curved.
