COMMENTS: Chapman cited the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description. He had ten specimens, five adult males, one adult female, and four young, all from the type locality and collected by Richardson and Leo Miller in July 1911. I have been able to find only eight specimens cataloged at AMNH from the type series, several of which were later exchanged with other collections. The seven paratypes are: AMNH 110079 About AMNH , male ; AMNH 110080 About AMNH , female ; AMNH 110081 About AMNH , male ; AMNH 110082 About AMNH , male ; AMNH 110083 About AMNH , female juvenile ; AMNH 110117 About AMNH , juvenile ; AMNH 110118 About AMNH , male juvenile. Of these, AMNH

110079 and 110118 were exchanged with O. Bangs whose collection is now in MCZ; AMNH 110081 was exchanged with USNM; and AMNH 110082 was exchanged with BMNH.
