Etymology. The species is named after Song Jiang, one of the 108 outlaws in the classical Chinese literature Outlaws of the Marsh; noun in apposition.
Diagnosis. Same as for the genus.
Description. Male (holotype). Total length 6.99; carapace 3.47 long, 2.61 wide, opisthosoma 3.52 long, 2.34 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.20, ALE 0.10, PME 0.17, PLE 0.18, AME–AME 0.10, AME–ALE 0.14, PME–PME 0.19, PME–PLE 0.30, AME–PME 0.13, ALE–PLE 0.08. Chelicerae with four promarginal and four retromarginal teeth. Leg I femur basal expanded. Leg measurements: I 7.75 (2.34, 2.68, 1.80, 0.93), II 7.23 (2.15, 2.47, 1.72, 0.89), III 6.48 (1.95, 2.14, 1.64, 0.75), IV 8.34 (2.36, 3.03, 2.08, 0.87).
Coloration ( Fig. 2 View Figure 2 ). Carapace black to brown. Chelicerae black. Endites and labium black to brown. Sternum brown. Legs red-brown with black setae. Opisthosoma oval, black, dorsum with white spots, laterally black, ventrum black with white pattern. Spinnerets short, white.
Palp ( Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ). Femur and patella unmodified, lacking apophyses. Cymbium pyriform. Retrolateral tibial apophysis bifurcated, stout. Tegular apophysis oblong, wider than long. Conductor white, bifurcated. Embolus arising at clock 8:30 position, broad, with longitudinal groove over entire length, terminus strongly bent, as wide as basal part.
Female. Unknown.
Material examined. Holotype ♂ (IZCAS-Ar43827), China: Yunnan, Dali City, Binchuang , Jizu Mount., 13 June 2018, Guyu Lou leg.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
