Cydrela likui Lin & Li , sp. nov. ( Figs 74–75 View Figure 74 View Figure 75 , 84C–D View Figure 84 )
Etymology. The species is named after Li Kui, one of the 108 outlaws in the classical Chinese literature Outlaws of the Marsh; noun in apposition.
Diagnosis. The male of the new species is similar to C. pristina Dankittipakul & Jocqué, 2006 by the bifurcated tip of the retrolateral tibial apophysis, the translucent, long, slender embolus, and the female is similar by the epigynal hood and oval spermathecae. However, the new species can be distinguished from C. pristina by the dorsally directed dorsal part of the retrolateral tibial apophysis (vs. directed anteriorly in C. pristina ) and the flat distal part of the conductor (vs. bifurcated in C. pristina ). The female can be distinguished by the C-sharped copulatory ducts (vs. slightly curved in C. pristina ) and the epigynal hood wider than long (vs. as long as wide in C. pristina ).
Description. Male (holotype). Total length 4.29; carapace 2.17 long, 1.33 wide, opisthosoma 2.12 long, 1.27 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.04, ALE 0.08, PME 0.07, PLE 0.08, AME–AME 0.02, AME–ALE 0.03, PME–PME 0.05, PME–PLE 0.14, AME–PME 0.06, ALE–PLE 0.21. Leg measurements: I 5.29 (1.45, 1.82, 1.12, 0.90), II 4.72 (1.29, 1.56, 1.06, 0.82), III 4.80 (1.28, 1.41, 1.22, 0.89), IV 6.53 (1.60, 1.83, 1.95, 1.15).
Coloration ( Fig. 84C View Figure 84 ). Carapace brown with white setae. Chelicerae, endites and labium brown. Sternum yellow-brown. Legs yellow-brown to brown with black setae. Opisthosoma oval, dark brown, dorsum with three pairs of pale oblong spots, first one largest, followed by hourglass-shaped spots, first one largest. Spinnerets yellow-brown.
Palp ( Fig. 74 View Figure 74 ). Patella wide in lateral view, tibia as long as wide, Retrolateral tibial apophysis as long as tibia, ventral ramus shorter and blunt, dorsal ramus longer and digitiform. Cymbium with six spines on distal part, 1.5 times longer than wide. Bulb almost oval. Conductor membranous, posterior portion lightly sclerotized; anterior part forming a groove, accommodating elongate embolus, originating at clock 6:00 position.
Female (IZCAS-Ar44043). Total length 6.50; carapace 2.89 long, 1.26 wide, opisthosoma 3.61 long, 1.42 wide. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.05, ALE 0.09, PME 0.08, PLE 0.10, AME–AME 0.04, AME–ALE 0.05, PME–PME 0.06, PME–PLE 0.10, AME–PME 0.10, ALE–PLE 0.31.
