is widely distributed across the central and eastern United States and frequently occurs in lower elevation midsized streams ( Grubbs & DeWalt 2012). This species was collected from a low elevation 4 th order stream in the Ridge and Valley Physiographic Province of northwestern Georgia and an unspecified location near Ball Ground in the Piedmont Plateau Physiographic Province.
