Perlesta decipiens (Walsh, 1862) View in CoL
is the most widespread Nearctic species in the genus, occurring from the sky islands of New Mexico and Arizona ( Cary & Jacobi 2008) to east of the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia ( Stark 1989). This species was collected from a low elevation 4 th order stream in the Ridge and Valley Physiographic Province of northwestern Georgia.
