Zealeuctra fraxina Ricker & Ross, 1969 View in CoL
was described from Kentucky and is one of three Zealeuctra species that occurs in the Appalachian Mountains and has been reported from adjacent states of Tennessee and Alabama ( Grubbs et al. 2013). This uncommon species was collected from two streams in Chattahoochee National Forest in the Ridge and Valley Physiographic Province of northwestern Georgia.
