Diagnosis: Endotricha dumalis ( Figs 7, 8 ) is closely similar to E. similata ( Fig. 9 ) but is distinct in male genitalia by the spined lateral lobes of juxta and saccular process medially bulged whereas in E. similata ( Fig. 22 ), lateral lobes of juxta are smooth and medial bulge of saccular process is absent. In female genitalia, E. dumalis ( Fig. 31 ) is distinct by the corpus bursae less elongated and spines of signum sparsely arranged which are dense in E. similata ( Whalley 1963: 426; imago: Pl. 3, fig. 40; female genitalia: Pl. 33, fig. 281).

Distribution: India (Sikkim, Mizoram (present study)), China ( Wang & Li 2005).

Remarks: The record of E. dumalis from the state of Sikkim is the first record of this species from India.
