Specimens examined. Pariquera-Açu, July 2002, 1 female on Centratherum punctatum Cass.
Previous records. Brazil [(States of São Paulo (Moraes et al., 2004b) and Goiás (Rezende & Lofego, 2011)]. Remarks. The measurements of the only adult female collected fit the original description, except for the shorter macroseta of tarsus IV (42) than reported in the original description (63–70). Specimens collected in this study have macroseta of tarsus IV of about the same length as reported by Lofego et al. (2009).
