Material examined. SIO: R/V “ Vityaz ” Stn. 6348-2, 18 º35’N, 175º05’W, 1600–1900 m, trawl, 18 Aug 1970 (1 tube).

Remarks. This species with a very characteristic tube with denticulate collars ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 J) has only been previously known from the Mediterranean (see ten Hove & Kupriyanova 2009 for review). This is the first (tentative because only a tube is available) record of the species from the Pacific.
