Male

Head. Face golden pollinose, not conspicuously inflated in lateral view, with a projection in the lower half; gena and post-gena pile yellow; post-ocular macrosetae dark brown; ocellar tubercle conspicuous dark brown, golden pollinose and with dark brown macrosetae; occiput dark brown, grey pollinose except in two areas close to vertex; vertex with yellow and dark brown setae.

Thorax. Scutum grey pollinose with three longitudinal stripes; acrostichal, dorsocentral and intra-alar setae well-developed in the posterior third; postalar callus with two long postalar setae; sparse, short, dark brown macrosetae and a tuft of long yellow setae on anterior extremity; two or three notopleural setae.

Wings. Cells r 1, m 3 and cu p closed before wing margin, with a conspicuous stalk vein; alulae well-developed.

Legs. Claws dark brown, lighter on bases, well-developed and pointed; pulvilli light brown, long and wide.

Abdomen. Long and cylindrical, light brown, golden pollinose; male terminalia with epandrium truncated on apex, “C”-shaped, with ventral projection wider than dorsal in dorsal view; strong, dark brown macrosetae on apex of inner margin of dorsal projection; hypandrium one-third the length of epandrium; gonocoxites two times longer than hypandrium with sinuous posterior margin; aedeagus with three functional prongs. Female spermathecae with three spherical, spermathecal reservoirs; individual spermathecal ducts joining to form a short common spermathecal duct; furca composed of a single sclerite, “V”-shaped.
