Material examined. CN: 2 ♂, 1 ♀, Makhtesh Gadol, coloured sands, 30º57.127’N 35º01.522’E, 16.v.2010 (D. Burckhardt).
Host plant. Adults have been collected on an unidentified species of Apiaceae which is a likely host. Comments. The species differs from the other Bactericera spp. known from Israel, as indicated in the key. More material, with confirmed host information, is required to identify this species.
