Distribution
From the Iberian Peninsular, through Southern and Central Europe, the Balkans, to the Near East and the Caucasus ( Arndt et al. 2011).
Notes
It is polyphagous, taking insect prey, but is also known to feed on the fallen seeds of plants in the Apiaceae family ( Lundgren 2009). In this study, it was rare (n = 1) and was only found in the wheat field in the homogeneous area.
