Distribution: Borneo; Madura Isl, Kalimantan, ( Indonesia); Sabah, Sarawak ( Malaysia).

Conservation: IUCN 2003 and IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001) – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: euryotis species group. Includes pilosus but not canuti ; see Hill and Schlitter (1982).
