Literature records.
Warncke (1969); Gusenleitner and Schwarz (2002: dot map 17); Grace (2010); Augul (2018); Wood and Monfared (2022); Ascher and Pickering (2023).
Remarks.
We have not examined any specimens of this species, but the presence of this species in Iraq is highly plausible based on its known global distribution, the mention of this species from southern Iraq ( Warncke 1969), the map records indicated by Gusenleitner and Schwarz (2002), and the presence of this species in neighbouring Iran.
Distribution.
Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Israel and West Bank, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran ( Warncke 1969; Gusenleitner and Schwarz 2002; Wood and Monfared 2022; Ascher and Pickering 2023).
