The new species is close to C. pseudomorio but differs in the following characters: frons with brownish dusting, central knob small ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 A), antennae with scape and pedicel dark brown, eyes with black hairs, tibiae orange-yellow in basal 1/3–1/2 and black in apical part, surstylus with distinct angle on posterior side ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 H). In C. pseudomorio , frons shiny, central knob large and broad ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 A), antennae completely bright orange, tibiae yellowish brown with indistinct black ring in apical half; surstylus without such angle ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 C).

Face broad, finely broadened in lower part, black (in one specimen brownish in lower part), covered with grey dusting and dense erect black hairs; central knob small ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 A); eye margins narrow, in middle part narrower than 1/2 of basoflagellomere, black or brown, covered with grey dusting and comparatively short black hairs; genae high, black with fine grey dusting and moderate in length black anteriorly and yellow posteriorly hairs. Frons swollen and broad, except narrow shiny stripe along lunula covered with brownish dusting and black hairs, frontal angle more than 100°; lunula brownish yellow; antennal pits separated. Antenna with scape and pedicel dark brown, basoflagellomere rounded, bright orange with darkened anterior half ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 D); arista long, bare, brown. Eyes completely covered with dense long black hairs, line of eyes connection approximately equal to length of frons without lunula. Vertex swollen, covered with black hairs; ocellar triangle equilateral. Occiput with black hairs. Thorax. Humeral callus black, with brownish dusting and black hairs. Scutum with fine punctuation, covered with stripes of fine brownish dusting and comparatively long erect black hairs of approximately equal length; no bristles present on sides. Scutellum with fine brownish dusting and long fine black hairs, hind margin without bristles; subscutellar fringe long, yellow. Pleurae with grey dusting and black and yellow hairs; upper and lower patches of hairs on katepisternum connected posteriorly; metasternum with long yellow hairs. Leg.
