Description: Ground color light yellow-brown, with black patches, anteclypeus brown. Area below transverse depression brown. Patches on vertex rounded ( Fig. 15o View FIGURE 15 ).

Abdominal apodemes not reaching posterior margin of 3 rd sternite ( Fig. 14i View FIGURE 14 ).

Pygofer side with ventral margin membranous; dorsal appendage crescent-shaped, ventral margin with two small protrusions; without ventral appendage ( Fig. 14a View FIGURE 14 ). Subgenital plate rounded apically, lateral margin with irregular rows of short stout setae subbasally and one row from subbase to apex, becoming sparse towards apex; with 3–4 macrosetae in the middle area ( Fig. 14c View FIGURE 14 ). Style with apex foot-like, preapical lobe convex on upper margin ( Fig. 14d View FIGURE 14 ). Aedeagal shaft broad and long, curved dorsad, with flaky extension at dorsal margin, ventro-basal area with pair of processes which are denticulate in ventral view; preatrium as long as shaft; gonopore subapical on ventral surface ( Figs 14g, h View FIGURE 14 ).

Measurement: Length of male 3.00mm.

Material examined: Holotype: ♂, China: Xinjiang Prov., Bole City , 500m, 25 vii 2006, coll. Dai Wu & Li Tao ( NWAFU).

Diagnosis: This new species is extremely similar to M. amseli ( Dlabola, 1961) , but can be distinguished by the broader pygofer dorsal appendage and its toothed ventral margin, and the presence of aedeagal processes.

Etymology: The specific epithet is named after its type locality “ Xinjiang ”.
