( NZAC); Loyalty Islands (Maré) (Hnahneice), on tubercules of Dioscorea ? alata , 10.07.2013, S. Tron coll., S. Cazères det. ( CXMNC); Lifou Island, same host, 23.VIII.2013, S. Tron coll., S. Cazères det. ( CXMNC).

PUBLISHED RECORDS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Cohic (1956, 1958a).

DISTRIBUTION IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Everywhere.

OTHER RECORDS. — Australasia, West Indies, Pacific Ocean, Western Africa, South-East Asia, Indian Ocean, Micronesia, North America.

HOST- PLANTS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Dioscorea spp. (Yam).

NOTES. — Can be a problem on yam cuttings during conservation and before planting. Cohic (1958a) noted that it was only known from the Isle of Pines and Loyalty Islands, but today it is widespread within the whole archipelago, most likely due to numerous exchanges of yam cuttings for planting and during traditional customary ceremonies.
