Psecadia variinotella Chrétien, 1915: 339, type locality: Gafsa, Tunisia, lectotype in MNHN [not examined].
Galactica variinotella : Sattler (1967: 140).
Remarks.
The male lectotype was designated by Sattler (1967: 140) who transferred the species provisionally from the family Ethmiidae to Galactica . The genitalia were unfortunately not examined and not illustrated. From the original description alone, the generic affiliation cannot be determined. The type is missing in the MNHN.
