Type locality: “ Sima Mayor , Sarisariñama-tepui, Estado Bolívar, Venezuela (4°41’N, 64°13’W), elevation 1,100 m.” GoogleMaps

Distribution: Region 5. Apparently endemic to Sarisariñama, a tepui in Bolívar State, southern Venezuela.

Remarks: In Pristimantis unistrigatus species group according to original publication ( Barrio-Amorós and Brewer-Carías 2008), but not assigned to any species group by Padial et al. (2014).
