Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Linnavuori 2007; Ghahari et al. 2010c), East Azarbaijan ( Ghahari et al. 2010c), Guilan, Semnan ( Linnavuori 2007), Isfahan ( Linnavuori 2012), Kermanshah ( Samin et al. 2011; Sakenin et al. 2010), Mazandaran ( Wagner 1968).
General distribution. Europe, Near East, Transcaucasia, the Maghreb.
Comments. On Asteraceae , Boraginaceae , Fabaceae , Lamiaceae ( Linnavuori 2007) . This species was recorded on more than 20 plants and also is known to suck little dead vertebrates ( Moulet 1995).
