Distribution in Iran. Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari ( Moulet et al. 2008), Fars, Tehran ( Hoberlandt 1989), Hamadan ( Samin et al. 2011), West Azarbaijan ( Sakenin et al. 2010).
General distribution. Most of European countries and Transcaucasia ( Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia). Comments. On Centaurea sp. ( Asteraceae ) ( Sakenin et al. 2010; Samin et al. 2011). Note. Necrophagy in the genus Ceraleptus is well known (Stehlík 1988; Moulet 1995; Constant 2007) (see Introduction of this work).
