( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 A–F)

Material Examined. Holotype: Ψ, Turkey, 42 km north of Bolu settlement, National Park of Yedi Göller, 800–900 m a.s.l., 15 May 2001. Sample of litter and soil in a coniferous forest (mostly Pinus sp.). Paratypes: 3 Ψ, 4 ɗ, 3 deutonymphs, one protonymph, same data as holotype. Type material is deposited in the Department of Zoology of Pamukkale University, Denizli, Turkey.

Description. Female

Dorsal idiosoma ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 A, B). Length of idiosoma in holotype 460 µm, width 330 µm. Measurement of three paratypes, length 456 (438–475) µm, width 328 (315–343) µm. Ornamentation of the dorsal shields is shown in Figure 1 View FIGURE 1 A. Dorsal pits are distinct, well-sclerotized, uniform in size, with short axes parallel to the body axis.

Setae. Podonotal seta j1 feathered; r3–r6 finely barbed; remaining setae of the podonotum short and smooth. Opisthonotal setae J1–J3, Z1, Z2, and S1 short and smooth; J4–J6 long and barbed, with hyaline tips. Seta J3 does not reach insertion of seta J4. Length of J4 approximately twice as long as the distance J4–J5. Seta J5 reaches beyond posterior margin of opisthonotum. The insertions of setae J6–J6 157 µm apart. Bases of setae J6 and Z5 very close together. Setae Z3 and Z4 similar to seta J5; Z2 short, only about one-third as long as the distance Z2–Z3. Seta Z3 reaches the insertion of seta Z4; Z4 projects beyond posterior margin of opisthonotum. Seta Z5 finely barbed; S2–S4 long and barbed with hyaline tips. Seta S2 reaches margin of opisthonotum. Seta S3 projects half of its length beyond margin of opisthonotum. Setae R1–R4 finely barbed; remaining setae of row R short and smooth. Length of opisthonotal setae and distances between setae within longitudinal rows are as in Table 1.

J6 - 81 (80–83) Pores ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 A). Pore Po1 located above the insertion of seta Z1. Pore Po2 lies on the line connecting setae Z2–S2. Pore Po3 lies on the line connecting setae Z4–J3, closer to Z4. Pore Po4 lies on the line connecting setae S4–Z5, closer to S4.

Ven t er ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 B). Chaetotaxy and shape of the peritrematal shield are typical for the genus. Adgenital shields present, with four pores. Anterior magrin of the ventri-anal shield with four setae.

Male ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 C, D). Idiosoma mean length 357 (343–370) µm, mean width 232 (230–235) µm. Setae, pores, and sculpturing pattern on the podonotum and opisthonotum as in female. Distance between setae J6–J6 128 (125–130) µm. Length of opisthonotal setae and distances between setae within longitudinal rows are as in Table 2.
