Artbeschreibung: Ähnlich wie E. pilosa , aber untere Rispenäste an der Basis kahl. Äste 2.Ordnung anliegend. Blätter 0,5-1,5 mm breit. Blattspreitengrund der obersten Blätter kahl. Ährchen 4-7 blütig, die meisten länger oder so lang wie ihr Stiel, Rispenäste dadurch dichtblütig. Untere Hüllspelze mindestens halb so lang wie obere. Hybriden mit E. pilosa häufig.
Blütezeit: 7-9
Standort und Verbreitung in der Schweiz: Ödland, Schuttplätze, adventiv / kollin / CH
Verbreitung global: Stammt aus Ostasien
