Distribution.

China (Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi, Ningxia). Newly recorded for Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

Remarks.

It had been noted by Švihla (2011) that Taiwanocantharis gansosichuana (Kazantsev, 2010) was possibly a junior synonym of Taiwanocantharis drahuska ( Švihla, 2004) without examining the types of the former species. During our study, the holotypes of the both nominal species and a large series of additional material at our disposal were examined, and no difference between them was discovered, thereby we suggest Taiwanocantharis drahuska be synonymized with Taiwanocantharis gansosichuana .
