Type species: Krisna strigicollis Spinola, 1852 .

Generic characters ( Zhang, Zhang & Dai 2008): Body, robust. Head narrower than pronotum; crown short and broad; anterior margin slightly produced; ocelli situated on anterior margin of crown. Face short, broad. Clypeal suture prominent, frontoclypeus elongate. Scutellum triangular, wider than long; forewing with irregular accessory crossveins. Male eighth sternite wide ( Figs. 62–65 ), with many small setae. Subgenital plate slender and elongate, outer margin with several long fine setae laterally. Style relatively slender, apex truncate.

Distribution. Old World tropics except Australia.
