Remarks.
Iredale (1939) states "The narrow form was figured by Pilsbry [1900], f. 63, and his specimen is here refigured as type of a subspecies, Bothriembryon barretti indictus nov.". Since Iredale mentioned to have had more shells available, we consider all material as syntypes.
