Diagnosis
This species is markedly differs from other three Lasiocallimerus species in pronotum covered with brick-red setar. Although it is similar to L. dembatkoi in sharing a white-yellow transverse band on elytra basal third, it additionally exhibits a darker band at the elytral apex (Fig. 1 View Figure 1 ).
