Anisops debilis perplexus Poisson, 1929 View in CoL
Asian Turkey. Dursun (2011).
General distribution. Portugal, Spain, North Africa, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran ( Polhemus 1995 e, Larsen & Blaustein 2005).
Comments. Dursun (2011) reported this subspecies based on one female (body length 6.91 mm) collected in the Hatay province. As the identification of Anisops females is rather difficult, the confirmation of the record based on male specimen(s) is desirable. The record of A. debilis canariensis from Alanya province ( Kıyak et al. 2006) possibly belongs to this subspecies as well.
Identification. Brooks (1951), Lansbury (1964), Nieser et al. (1994).
