Asian Turkey. Kment & Jindra (2005), Önder et al. (2006).
General distribution. Eurosiberian species distributed in most of European countries, Armenia, Georgia, Asian part of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Siberia, Far East of Russia, north-eastern China, Korea, Japan ( Andersen 1995, Protić 1998, Kwon et al. 2001, Gogala 2003, Kanyukova 2006, Prokin et al. 2008), and Anatolia ( Kment & Jindra 2005).
Identification. Stichel (1955), Poisson (1957), Nieser (1972), Tamanini (1979), Nieser et al. (1994), Linnavuori & Hosseini (2000), Kanyukova (2006).
Subgenus Picaultia Distant, 1913
Comment. Andersen & Weir (2003) resurrected Picaultia Distant, 1913 as a valid subgenus of Microvelia Westwood, 1834 .
