Turkey (not distinguished). Kıyak & Özsaraç (2001), Önder et al. (2006, as S. xsanthochila [sic!, lapsus calami]). General distribution. Southern Europe and southern parts of Central Europe,?Algeria, Asia from Anatolia to northern India, Central Asia, Mongolia, north-eastern China, and East Siberia ( Lindskog 1995, Protić 1998).
