Turkey (not distinguished). Kıyak & Özsaraç (2001), Önder et al. (2006).

General distribution. Europe including the South European Territory of Russia, Asian part of Kazakhstan; its record from Kirgizia needs confirmation ( Jansson 1995, Protić 1998, Gogala 2003, Coulianos 2005, Coulianos et al. 2008). The records from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Macedonia (see Protić 1998) also need confirmation (A. Jansson, pers. comm. to B. Aukema 1999).

Comment. Kıyak & Özsaraç (2001) listed the species with reference to Stichel (1955). However, Stichel (1955) listed it only from ‘Turkestan’, which refers to the former Russian Central Asia, not to Turkey. Önder et al. (2006) listed the species only from Turkey, without any details. We exclude the species from the list as there is apparently no published record of M. minutissima from Turkey.
