Tabanus darimonti is European species, recorded in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, and Turkey ( Kiliç 1999). In the study area, this species was recorded only from Jordan (Al-Talafha et al. 2004). Specimens from Jordan are intermediate form between specimens of pallidipes and darimonti from the south of Portugal, Spain, and Turkey (Al-Talafha et al. 2004).
