Dasyrhamphis carbonarius (Meigen, 1820) View in CoL
Dasyrhamphis carbonarius View in CoL is a rare species recorded from Tunisia and Turkey ( Chvála & Lyneborg 1970). It is known from Palestine and Syria ( Chvála et al. 1972). This species was a synonym under Dasyrhamphis nigritus (Fabricius 1794) View in CoL a long time ago. Chvála and Lyneborg (1970) have revised this species and adopted the name carbonarius View in CoL for the current form by selecting a neotype from Turkey.
