Syntype: ZMB 20287 (2, 83–117 TL), Japan and Taiwan .
Remark. Two syntypes, probably only one was collected from Taiwan. Dr. Peter Bartsch (ZMB, pers. comm., 24 Oct. 2008) kindly informed us that these two type specimens are present in the collection.
