DISTRIBUTION: Central and Salinas valleys of California ( USA).

STATUS: Listed as a Species of Special Concern by the State of California Dept, of Fish and Game.

SYNONYMS: neglectus Taylor, sillimani von Bloeker.

COMMENTS: Revised by Osgood (1918); subspecies listed by Hall (1981).
