Megapomponia imperatoria ( Westwood, 1842) View in CoL
Although this species has been reported from India, Nepal, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, Borneo, Sarawak, and Indonesia ( Metcalf 1963 d; Sanborn et al. 2007), this species is confined to the peninsular Malaysia as Hayashi (1993) indicated. Accordingly, the records of this species from Cambodia made by Walker (1870), Metcalf (1963b), and Sanborn et al. (2007) should be regarded as erroneous records due to misidentification and/or simple citations of previous literature.
