Camptomyia rhynchostylata sp. nov.

Diagnosis. Males of C. rhynchostylata are distinguished from other Camptomyia by the following combination of characters: the elongate, curved gonostylus has a long, narrow extension distally, whose microtrichia are increasingly coarse towards the apex where they form a dense brush ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 10–15 , ↓ 4); the ventral parameres, whose length exceeds half the length of the dorsal parameres, are tusk-shaped ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 10–15 , ↓ 5); and the ninth tergite, which is entirely covered with setae, has the posterior edge deeply notched ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 10–15 ). The new species resembles C. flavocinerea Panelius, 1965 , which is believed to be a complex of several different species that cannot be distinguished from each other using male morphology ( Jaschhof & Jaschhof 2013: 338f.). The gonostylus of C. flavocinerea lacks the nose-shaped apex found in C. rhynchostylata , and its claw is a comb of spines rather than a brush of microtrichia. Females and preimaginal stages of the new species are unknown.

Other male characters. Body size 3.1 mm. Head. Eye bridge 10–11 ommatidia long dorsally. Scape and pedicel lighter than flagellum. Flagellomeres 21–24. Neck of fourth flagellomere slightly longer than node ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 10–15 ). Palpus with 4 segments, 1.4 times longer than head height. Wing clearly longer than body, 2.7 times longer than wide. A remnant of M 1+2 present at wing edge. Legs. Claws slightly bent, with single large tooth basally. Empodia rudimentary. Genitalia. Gonocoxal synsclerite broader than long; ventral surface covered with setae of various sizes; ventral emargination small, subtrapezoid, with distinct, microtrichose lobe anteriorly; dorsal apodemes long, only slightly shorter than the distance separating them ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 10–15 ). Aedeagus including apodeme 1.5 times the length of parameres, poorly sclerotized, especially close to the T-shaped base; apex sharply contoured, tube-shaped, situated below the level of parameral apices ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 10–15 ). Dorsal parameres slender, pointed apically, parallel and in some distance to each other (holotype, Fig. 15 View FIGURES 10–15 ) or touching apically (paratype); parameral apodemes short, unmodified.

Etymology. The species name, an adjective derived from Greek, means as much as ‛with a nose-shaped gono- stylus’.

Type material. Holotype. Male , Sweden, Småland , Nybro , Bäckebo, Grytsjön Nature Reserve, old-growth hemiboreal forest, 17 July–11 August 2014, Malaise trap, M. & C. Jaschhof (spn. no. CEC 1740 in NHRS). Paratype. 1 male, same data as the holotype (spn. no. CEC 1741 in SDEI) .
