Type host. Onychogalea fraenata (Marsupialia: Macropodidae ).

Other hosts. Onychogalea unguifera .

Site in host. Subcutaneous nodules.

Remarks. This species has not been seen since first reported by Johnston & Mawson in 1938. The W/L N# records of this species in Onychogalea spp. by Spratt et al. 1991 and by Beveridge et al. 1992 are in error and refer to B. (B.) bigenera , as noted under that description.
