Phlegmariurus attenuatus (Spring) B.Øllg., Phytotaxa View in CoL 57: 12. 2012. ( Fig. 11A View FIGURE 11 )
= Lycopodium attenuatum Spring, Mém. Acad. Roy. Sci. View in CoL Belgique 24: 8. 1849.
= Huperzia attenuata (Spring) Trevis., Atti Soc. Ital. Sci. Nat. View in CoL 17: 249. 1874.
This species from Costa Rica and Andes from Colombia to northern Peru, is known in Bolivia only from “Andes Bolivianae”, Mandon 1527B (P) a mixed collection of this species and P. tetragonus View in CoL . Both species are common in the northern Andes and often co-occur, and the probability of a single mixed collection of both species from Bolivia with no subsequent records is so small that we consider that the collection is likely mislabeled.
